How To Use A Google Maps Radius Tool

As someone who likes both, Google Maps and hiking, I wanted to find a way to draw a radius circle around a location in Google Maps to show a distance from that point in all directions. I was surprised that Google doesn’t offer such a nifty feature in the Maps Tool. If you are looking for a Google Maps radius tool as well, don’t worry, there is still a way to do this. It’s just not a supported feature, but there is a developer called Oliver Beattie who created a tool to draw circles of a given radius on top of the Google map, simply load this Map instead.

Aug 2, 2017 - Google doesn't offer this option in My Maps. In Google Earth you need to draw the circle manually, you can't specify the radius. The author of the kml4earth link is a contributor here, I'll ask him if he can do anything. You could also try
